BTW, why do we need Nato now? It was formed to secure European countries from USSR. There is no threat from Russia at least. More over Russia is not in a position to do so.

NATO has nothing to do with defending Europe, even though the primary reason for existence after the second world war was to prevent a Soviet invasion of Western Europe? The US defends Europe because it is in their interest to do so, politically, financially, ideologically and morally.

NATO is going to relocate contigents from Kosovo-and, to an international relief, Serbia will take a control over its ”sovereign” province.
