France :
France was forced to confront the moral decay of its deprived housing estates as the trial opened today one of the decade’s most harrowing murder cases: the kidnap and torturing to death of a Jewish mobile phone salesman by a gang said to believe Jews were “loaded” and would club together to pay a ransom.

This better be conducted properly and not turned into another affair. This trial was a disaster and a disgrace for France, still vividly remembered by most in central Europe, since it was the beginning of some thing we would know today as the Holocaust and the creation of Israel as well as the persecution of the Palestinian. (History bites.)

Not a "good" story to read, however, it has to be reported, and absorbed as it is a reality.

Just another example of muslims using their religion to justify homicide... when are europeans going to wake up and realize that the problem is the ideology of ISLAM!!!! or should we just wait for another incident like this ... or another daniel Pearl beheading.... or 9-11, or Spanish train bombing... or london bus bombing.. and on and on and on... WAKE UP!!!!!

”At his mother’s demand, Ilan Halimi was reburied at the Givat Shaul cemetery in Jerusalem in February 2007. ”You will never be able to hurt him any more,” she wrote in her book, addressing the killers. ”I took him away from here because one day you will be free and you would have been able to come and spit on his tomb.””

I hope it is the last trial of this sort in, at least, Europe.
